Quarantine required

Travelers are required to quarantine for 7 days at a government approved accommodation, at their own expense, and an additional 3 days at their own residence or accommodation, if suitable. During and after this period, travelers may be subject to follow-up testing.
If traveling from the point of entry in China to another city or region, a further quarantine period, testing, or health monitoring may be required.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of 2 negative COVID-19 tests, taken within the previous 48 and 24 hours, must be provided on departure. The 2 tests must be conducted in different testing institutions. A list of authorized testing centers can be found at www.gov.uk
Travelers who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 are required to show proof of 2 additional negative nucleic acid tests, taken at least 14 days before departure and with an interval of more than 24 hours in between.

Additional documents required

Travelers are required to upload their test results and health documents on the 'China health declaration certificate' website no later than 12 hours before departure. The 'health declaration code' generated must be presented prior to boarding.
